Should I get the FITsplint?
Women who are immediately postpartum (within 3 months) or women with abdominal separation 2 fingerwidths or larger can benefit from using the FITsplint 4-6 weeks while reconditioning their core (ReCORE). By doing both, women provide the best environment for tissue to shorten and strengthen. Correct abdominal exercises help strengthen the core and increase blood flow to the tissue as well.The FITsplint is used temporarily postpartum to help support, splint and load the stretched out muscles and tissue. Splinting is beneficial when used correctly with progressive corrective exercise.
